This one had me coming to a complete stop!
well, almost and it's okay 'cause I have a bumper sticker that says
WARNING... I break for photo ops!
And may actually come to a FULL STOP!
Amateur Photographer on board
Okay, so technically I didn't do a Saturday drive today... but did you really want to see the mess and restoration of Christmas decorating.
I think not! It's not even Thanksgiving yet!
And just an FYI, the entire backside of this house is unfinished, unpainted, plywood I think. The east side is just the plastic sheeting that is put on before you install brick or siding.
Can you help but wonder about the people who live there.
Oh, yes it was occupied.
They had a sign posted on the front gate that the house was not for sale!
More about the location of this house next Saturday since I won't be driving anywhere, but franticly typing for NaNoWriMo!
Geeze, I could write about this house... should be good for about a 10K word count.

AWESOME pictures - I love your blog! Great work!
Hello, Michele sent me. AND I will be back!
Jerry in Tampa
I LOVE that house!! Is that a gargoyle on the turret?
That's one of those that I'd knock on the door and ask for a peek inside.
Gorgeous photos!!
Hello, Michele sent me!
Thanks, Jerry!
aka Monty, isn't it awesome?
There is a gargoyle on each turret! Crazy, huh?
The yard is overgrown and full of debris... I don't quite get why they have painted the front and left so much unfinished.
Thanks for the compliment.
What an interesting paint job it has! Maybe they are trying to decide what color to paint?
Michele says hello.
OMG... is that a fugly house or what?? Wouldn't you just love to own the property next door? (NOT)
The gargoyles are cool, but the color scheme...yuck!
When I lived in Park Slope in Brooklyn, the neighborhood was all beautiful brownstones and limestones. But on one block a family owned two of the houses and painted one Pepto-Bismol pink and the other a glaring day-glo green. Talk about bringing property values down!!
Here via michele... first time!
I'm so glad you stopped. Not just this time, but every time.
We'll never know what we miss if we don't take the time. Thanks to your diligence, there's a magical house out there that I want to know more about. It has a story, and I know just the person to tell it.
Good on ya!
Great pictures! I would love to see the inside.

Maybe they're trying for the Warped-Disney-Castle look...
I grew up in a Victorian, n there's tons in my current village also, where they do tend to color parts like this- However, there's Gothic detail. I've seen places with one Octagon room- this is a carpenter's nightmare-
Maybe more than 15k-w
Wonderful pictures. I want that house, so unique.
I'm new to your blog, please feel welcomed to visit mine.
Jillian
kenju, what's even more odd is only the front is painted. The other sides of the house are not even finished.
thanks for the visit!
hi Panthergirl, oh wait till you see the neighbor of this house. Posting that next Saturday.
thanks for this first visit, however you have visited my farm blog...
Thanks Carmi... perhaps I'll drive by there again to see if any one is home. Get their story!
Hi Mike. Me too! I can't even imagine what the inside looks... open floor plan? Lots of little rooms? Winding hallways? Secret Rooms?
Hi Snaggletooth. I hear that! Can you imagine... measure twice, cut once.. oops... measure like 100 times.
I'm not sure if the photo accurately shows all the angles. It's very unique.
Hi Jillian. It would be a fun house to live in... but wait till you see the neighborhood.
I will visit your blog. I try to get around to all that comment here.
Thank you to all that took the time to comment.
