I know what you mean about scanning and color. When I scan my illustrations it's just not the same. So I go into photo shop and try to brigthen them up, but end up loosing some of the definition. I use color pencils too for most of my illustrations.

P.S. Tell "dave" to go fish.

Unlike Dave up there, I like the way you drew the scales. The colors are serene too.

thank you, Dave, for your construction criticism.

How do you know it's a fish?

I like my rendition of scales.

Hi Rick, thanks for stopping by!

when my scanner works the color was just right! It's an HP.

I love the "logo" you did for the really famous Dawn...

kstyles, thank you!

This sketch took close to 4 hours.

All the drawings and sketches and ACEOs are done while I am at work. So in between phone calls I "color"

As soon as my farm sells I'm going FT as an artist (and writer), painting canvases again.

I'll be visiting y'all this afternoon.

Fridays are my half days. The rest of the week I'm chained to my cube for 9 1/2!
